    Maren Kjos

    Firm, methodical, and measured to what the muscle will take. Mostly shoulders, low backs and hips that have been carrying something for a while.

Our story

One Room on Broadway

Aura opened in 2019 in a single room above the bike shop at 412 Broadway, with one table, one therapist, and a sign in the window that Maren painted herself.

She had spent ten years behind a bar being told that the pain in her back was simply part of the job. Finding out otherwise took long enough that she trained at Brenner to save other people the same wait.

Priya joined in 2023 and brought prenatal work with her. It is still one room and one table at a time, on purpose: nobody is worked on in a hurry, and nobody is booked in over the top of anyone else.
