This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain, because your trust is the whole point.
Revision Web Designs (“Revision,” “we,” “us”) is a small web-design studio based in Fargo, North Dakota, serving businesses across the United States. This policy covers our website, our shop, and the client dashboard you use to build and manage your site.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, email, phone, and business address when you reach out, buy a site, or set up your account.
- Project details — the words, images, hours, services, and brand materials you share so we can build your website.
- Account information — the login and security settings for your client dashboard, including two-factor settings.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage data — your browser type, general location, and the pages you visit, used to keep the site working and secure.
- Cookies — small files that keep you signed in and remember your cart. See Cookies below.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your full card number is entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and is never stored on our servers — we only receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as the card brand and last four digits) to manage your Site Care subscription.
How we use your information
- To build, launch, host, and maintain your website.
- To run your account and your monthly Site Care plan, including edit credits.
- To process payments and send receipts, renewal notices, and account emails.
- To respond to your messages and support requests.
- To keep our services secure and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscriptions.
- Netlify — website hosting.
- Supabase — account data and the client dashboard.
- Resend — sending account, receipt, and notification emails.
- Our domain registrar — registering and managing your website’s domain name.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and our business.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, kept as minimal as we can:
- Essential cookies keep you signed in to your dashboard and remember what’s in your cart. The site can’t work properly without these.
- Preference cookies remember small choices, like dismissing a notice or trusting a device for two-factor sign-in.
We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the dashboard may stop working if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it to provide your site and meet legal or tax requirements. If you cancel Site Care, your website goes offline, and you can request a copy of your site files at any time by contacting us.
Your choices
- Access & correction — you can view and update most of your details right inside your client dashboard, or ask us to help.
- Deletion — you can ask us to delete personal information we’re not required to keep.
- Email — account and billing emails are part of the service, but you can unsubscribe from any optional newsletter at any time.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, secure infrastructure from the providers above, and optional two-factor authentication on your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services grow. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above, and we’ll let you know if the changes are significant.
